BIG NEWS FOR PFLUGERVILLE FC!
Welcome to the start of the Fall 2026 season! We hope that everyone had an amazing Summer Break and we are so excited to share all of the big and exciting news that we have! Huge shoutout to all of our amazing coaches, players, staff, board members, and volunteers who are making these big things possible!
Acceptance into the National 1 League
Our coaches and players have been working incredibly hard over the last couple of seasons to earn their entry into into the new National 1 League! This league will be the highest level of team-based competition available, and is a unification of the US Club National Premier League and the USYS National League. The league is open to teams U13 and older. We will be part of the South District 3 operated by the South Texas Champion’s League (STXCL). We are so proud of the following teams and coaches who will be participating in this league this year.

New Pre-ECNL South Texas League
BIG NEWS for all South Texas boys ages U10-U12! Also operated by STXCL, there is a new Pre-ECNL South Texas league for boys and Pflugerville FC had teams accepted into all three age groups! This is the highest level of competition available to these age groups!
*Please note that the decision to start the league for boys only at this time is a league decision, but when they open it up to girls, PFC will be ready!

ECNL-RL STXCL
ECNL-RL STXCL is a division of the ECNL Regional League based in South Texas. This is a highly competitive platform that is regionally-based to create the highest level of competition while stay relatively local. As part of the ECNL ecosystem, teams will have access to ECNL-RL events and showcases, and the ability to advance to the ECNL-RL playoffs. These opportunities also create exposure to college scouts and coaches. This season will begin the second year for this league, and Pflugerville FC has two teams that were accepted! We wish these coaches and players luck and support and they enter this platform!

While we are so excited to be able to offer these higher-level opportunities to our players and families, it is also important to make sure that we have a pathway for ALL levels of play. So whether you are ready to compete at the highest level, or are just starting your soccer journey, we have a home for you!

Coach John Moyer “Coach Johnny” has joined Pflugerville FC and is already getting to work with our Select Girls Program and the Goalkeeping Program. CALLING ALL GIRLS
If you are a girl ages U11 and older, and you are still looking for a home this Fall, please consider coming to one of our FREE Girls ID Clinics. These clinics are open to all players, whether they currently play for a club, are new to the area, are returning to soccer, or simply want more time on the field. Players will train with our coaching staff, meet other athletes, and experience the Pflugerville FC training environment. Get a chance to meet and talk with Coach Johnny and hear about what our Girls Program can offer you.

FALL RECREATIONAL SOCCER
2 Ways to Play — Same Great PAYSL Experience!
This Fall, we have 2 great options for Recreational Soccer play. Decide which league is right for you, or choose them both! The leagues may be different, but the fun won’t be!
PAYSL Rec League
This classic league has been around and serving Pflugerville since 1982! It is open to boys and girls ages U4-U18. For ages U4-U8, choose between a team that practices in Manor or Pflugerville.
*Please note that all home games will be played in Pflugerville, and all teams ages U9 and older will practice in Pflugerville.
Late Registration: August 22nd
Opening Weekend: Saturday, September 12th
PAYSL Sunday 1-Day League
NEW THIS FALL: We are excited to pilot our new Sunday 1-Day League this Fall for boys and girls ages U4-U7. These leagues will be co-ed and each age group will play at the SAME TIME every Sunday afternoon Wells Point Park. Players will meet at the fields for a 30-minute practice followed by a small-sided game. We are also introducing a small playoff-style tournament at the end of the season. If you like the idea of “same time, same place” this is a great option to keep your calendar consistent, and with the commitment only being 1 day per week, this is great for families with multiple kids in sports, or kids that are still just trying soccer out.
Late Registration: September 6th
Opening Weekend: Sunday, September 27th
FRIENDLY REMINDERS!
Before the season starts, we do want to take a moment to remind all parents and coaches of a few things.
Respect the Ref Policy - please make sure to remember that all of our refs are on the field doing their very best. Many of them are new this season, and many of them are minors. It is very important that we all remember our good sideline behavior.
Additionally, please remember that we are all part of the same family. Parents arguing on the sideline with each other, with the referees, or with the coaches will not be tolerated. Please take a moment to review our Parent Code of Conduct & Discipline Policy.
Double Good Popcorn Fundraiser is Coming
MARK YOUR CALENDARS! We will be kicking off a club-wide Double Good popcorn fundraiser starting on the evening of Sunday, August 16th!
Where will the funds go?
Pflugerville FC will receive 50% of all the money made from the fundraiser. Example: If you sell $300 worth of popcorn, we will receive $150.
The first $100 earned ($200 sold) per family will be used by the club to provide valuable resources needed to give the best possible experience to everyone. This includes our Financial Aid Program which serves as many financially disadvantaged families as possible! The more funds raised, the more families we can provide for!
Anything earned over the first $100 will be applied to the player's outstanding registration fees!
LAST YEAR STATS
This fundraiser is not mandatory so you can participate as much or as little as you would like. However, the more you sell, the more you may be able to apply towards your fees for this season! We would love to see more participation this year because every penny earned will either go towards your balance, or towards helping others. Here are some fun numbers from last year:
47 players raised over $100 hundred dollars for themselves!
28 of those players raised over $200!
7 of those players earned over $500!
What if I play Recreational Soccer and don't have a balance?
We will create a credit for up to the full amount of your Spring Rec registration so that you can play in the Spring FOR FREE!
** We will not carry credits into next year. If you do not plan to play Spring Rec, we can work with you to apply the credit to a camp or clinic instead.
