Program Purpose

Developing the Next Generation of Players

At Pflugerville FC, our purpose is clear: to be the leading player development club in the Austin area. That commitment begins within our Junior Academy and Academy programs, where our professional coaching staff create an environment built on learning, challenge, guidance, and a genuine love for the game.

Our Junior Academy (6U–7U) and Academy (8U–10U) programs are designed to meet players at every stage of their development journey. Whether taking their first steps in the game or striving to refine their skills, our focus is on helping each player grow with confidence, creativity, and purpose.

Through intentional training, positive coaching, and a player-centered approach, we aim to develop not only technically and tactically sound players, but also individuals who understand the game, embrace challenges, and enjoy the process of learning.

We are proud to welcome players and families into the PFC community and are committed to supporting each player’s long-term development both on and off the field.

ACADEMY PROGRAM

- Registration is a full year commitment for Fall and Spring seasons.
- 2 practices per week with professional PFC Coaching Staff.
- All Academy teams participate in the Central Texas Academy League which includes 2 games per weekend. Travel may include Round Rock, Georgetown, Lake Travis, and other greater Austin areas.
- Tournament registration fees included
- Offseason Winter training and league included for Green and Blue teams
- Individual Development Plan (IDP) which may include additional playing opportunities
- Goalkeeper training program
* Specific team information will be included in your PlayMetrics invitation.
** Any U10 teams playing in Pre-ECNL or Select leagues are considered Select teams, not Academy teams.
Registration fees depend on the team. We have two pricing tiers in Academy.
1. Green & Blue teams - pricing includes Winter training and the Winter indoor league.
2. White, Grey, Black, Emerald, and Royal teams - pricing does not include any Winter programming. However, optional Winter programs will be available for these players!
Payment Options
- “Commitment Fee” due at time of registration.
- Choose to pay remaining balance in full up front, or break into 9 monthly payments. (We do not charge interest on payment plans!)
- Annual fundraiser will allow players to raise funds to apply to their balance. Details will be provided towards the start of the season.

Payment & Refund Policy
Our club can not run without help from the amazing volunteers in our PFC community! We require 3 hours of volunteer work for each player in our Academy program each year. Volunteer opportunities include helping with uniform fittings, running merch tables, helping with tournament setup, Field Day, etc. Information and sign ups for these opportunities will be sent via email through PlayMetrics.
Each family has the option of choosing not to volunteer by paying the volunteer buyout fee instead.

- Puma uniform kits. These may be worn for up to 2 years.
  - New 2-year cycle begins Fall 2026 and runs through Spring 2028.
- Additional optional tournaments
- Individual travel costs including hotels, flights, rental cars, gas, and food etc.
- Personal equipment (cleats, shin guards, water bottles, soccer ball, etc.)
- Winter programming (if not included with your team)
- Camps or clinics
