About PAYSL

The PAYSL Recreational Soccer Program is all about fun, learning, and a love for the game. It's designed for younger players just starting out and for older kids who want to keep playing in a low-pressure, less-competitive setting.

For teams U8 and younger, we don’t keep score or track standings because it’s not about winning, it’s about playing. Every player gets equal time on the field and a chance to try different positions.

Our goal is simple: help kids build confidence, learn the basics of soccer, and have a great time doing it. By keeping the experience positive and inclusive, we hope to spark a lifelong love for the game.

PAYSL Program Leagues

PAYSL Rec League

The PAYSL Recreational League is open to boys and girls U4-U18. Teams will practice during the week and play games on the weekends.
U4 - U6 (Coed)
Teams will participate in our internal PAYSL League. All games will be played Saturdays at Pfennig Park, but choose between Pflugerville and Manor for your practice location.
U7 - U8 (Boys & Girls)
Teams will participate in our internal PAYSL League. HOME games will be played at Wells Point Park and AWAY games will be played at Wells Branch; but choose between Pflugerville and Manor for your practice location.
U9 - U10 (Boys & Girls)
Teams will participate in our internal PAYSL League. HOME games will be played at Wells Point Park and all teams will practice in Pflugerville.
U11 - U18 (Boys & Girls)
Teams will participate in the CAYSA Div III League. HOME games and team practices will be held in Pflugerville.

PAYSL Sunday 1-Day League

The PAYSL Sunday 1-Day League is open to boys and girls U4-U7. Players will be split into two age group and all teams will be coed. Teams will ONLY meet once per week on Sunday afternoons for a 30-minute practice, followed by a small sided game against another team in the league. Teams will have 6 regular season games with a mini playoff style tournament at the end. All games will be held at Wells Point Park.
U4 & U5 Age Group (Coed)
League will begin at 2PM on Sunday afternoons. Players will meet for a 30-minute practice with their volunteer coach, immediately followed by a 30-minute game with 15-minute halves. This age group will play 3v3 with no goalkeepers and the coaces will ref the games.
U6 & U7 Age Group (Coed)
League will begin at 1PM on Sunday afternoons. Players will meet for a 30-minute practice with their volunteer coach, immediately followed by a 40-minute game with 20-minute halves. This age group will play 4v4 with no goalkeepers. Official referees will be provided.

REC ALL STAR EVENTS

These super fun events are a collaboration between our Academy Director, Trevor Ward, and our hard-working Recreational volunteer coaches. Each season, coaches from a few age groups are asked to nominate a couple players from their teams to participate in the event. The players get to experience training with some of our professional Academy coaches, and participate in several friendly but competitive matches with referees. This event serves as a true celebration of our Recreational players and their love and dedication to the sport!
