WHAT HAVE WE BEEN UP TO?
February and March were incredibly busy months for us and we have so much to catch up on!
Spring Break Soccer Camp!
Our players are all on their finals stretch of the season and the school year! During the week of March 16-20, many of our players joined us for an indoor Spring Break soccer camp where they refined their skills and ended the week with a mini World Cup tournament!

Opening Day for PAYSL
Feb 21
Our PAYSL Recreational League began on Feb 21st and it went off with a bang! Our Recreational players were all out sporting their new jerseys and playing their hearts out. There were so many smiles, high fives, and parents tunnels that capturing photos of these kiddos was easy!
Thank you so much to all of our volunteer Rec coaches who either returned this season, or stepped up for the first time. Each child on the fields is able to enjoy these weekends because of you!
FRIENDLY REMINDERS!
Although our season is off to an amazing start, we do want to remind all parents and coaches of a few things.
Respect the Ref Policy - please make sure to remember that all of our refs are on the field doing their very best. Many of them are new this season, and many of them are minors. It is very important that we all remember our good sideline behavior.
Additionally, please remember that we are all part of the same family. Parents arguing on the sideline with each other, with the referees, or with the coaches will not be tolerated. Please take a moment to review our Parent Code of Conduct & Discipline Policy.
AUSTIN FC VISITS
March 5 - Pflugerville FC welcomed Josh Reyes from Austin FC Academy to the fields where he observed and interacted with some of our top Select Boys teams. We thank him so much for his time, and are so thrilled to be able to offer exciting opportunities like this to the players in our programs! If you, or someone you know is interested in joining one of our top level teams, please come to a STXCL Player Opportunity Event this month to be evaluated before tryouts!

Free Girls Clinics
DON’T WAIT TO REGISTER! Our 2-hour Free Girls Clinic in March was so much fun! Grab a girlfriends from school and come join us for another evening in April of fun, friendships, and of course, soccer.
Open to all girls with a birth year between 2016 and 2009. Players do not need to be current PFC players to attend!
Spring SkillBuilder Clinics
Block 2 Starts Apr 17
Our SkillBuilder Clinics offer a series of 1-hour weekly training sessions on Friday evenings. Clinics are led by Coach Vanessa Adams and other professional PFC coaches.

STXCL Player Opportunity Events
Are you interested in seeing what Pflugerville FC’s Select program has to offer? We are looking for high level players to join our STXCL teams in the Fall!
Register today and you’ll be invited to attend a training session so that we can evaluate you ahead of tryouts in May.
Academy & Jr Academy Observations
During our Observations, Academy and Jr Academy players will be evaluated and assessed for team placement.
NEW | This Fall 2026, we are splitting our Jr Academy program into separate Fall and Spring seasons. If you have been on the fence about joining our Jr Academy program, we are lowering the commitment so that you can try us out!
Select Tryouts
Our Select program includes several different development pathways ranging from extremely competitive to that next step above the Rec program. Players will be evaluated during tryouts, and will be notified through the PlayMetrics app if they made a team.
