Ahmed Refaat

“Coach Ahmed” has been coaching multiple sports for 3 years and is starting his 1st season with PFC! His favorite thing about coaching is watching players develop themselves on and off the pitch using the activities and experiences they learn with the soccer ball. In addition to sports, he also coached Chess at various school districts and for a private Chess club!

He is a talented multi-sport athlete who played soccer in his youth as well as basketball and Jiu-Jitsu. He played basketball semiprofessionally at Alexandria Sporting Club in Egypt, holds a purple belt in Jiu-Jitsu, and still plays on an adult soccer team to this day.

Coach Ahmed is originally from the Mediterranean city of Alexandria, Egypt. He traveled from a young age with his parents and siblings (2 sisters and 1 brother) and had the chance to live in different states like Washington, New York, and California; and for the past 4 years he has lived in Austin. He has a Bachelors degree in Business Administration from Alexandria University. Has worked before as a classroom teacher in Egypt , chef/catering business owner in Washington state, and currently as a Realtor focused on apartment leasing and home sales/buying in Texas.
